Daddy's Little Helpers

Whenever Steve is working on a project around the house, the girls are always right at his side. They love helping their dad out no matter what project he's working on. From patching dry wall (beautifully scratched by our DARLING yellow lab) to painting...Steve is never at a loss when it comes to pint-sized helpers.

This weekend, the girls helped Steve fix the dryer vent.

With all three of them crammed into a tight space, it took Steve twice as long to get his simple project completed. Isn't help great?!?!?

Personally, I love when the girls do projects with Steve. I think it's great for them to start learning how to do home improvement projects at an early age.

Oh yeah...plus when they are helping Steve, that usually means I'm free to do MY cooking projects on my own. I love their help in the kitchen, but there's definitely something to be said for getting some things done WITHOUT help too!

IT does make the work take twice as long, but it so much fun having those experiences and memories!
