Gorgeous Girlies and Gallons of Giggles

Madison, Olivia, and I had a very special visitor on Monday. My Goddaughter, Brooklynn, came to spend the day with us. Brooklynn broke her leg last week and is currently in a splint...and therefore unable to walk on her leg. So, she needed a place to hang out on Monday while her parents were at work.

After hearing that she was getting a little bored and frustrated with her wrapped leg, the girls and I tried to plan an extra fun day for her. Everyone seemed to have lots of fun as I attempted to keep the three ladies entertained throughout the day. We painted toenails, went for walks, played with PlayDoh and much more...

Olivia, Madison, and Brooklynn - Don't you just love how they are all holding hands?!?!?

When Olivia woke up from her nap, she and Brooklynn wanted to start painting. Shh...don't tell Madison!

Then it was time for some cookie baking!

Oops...just scoop it back in!
The "Sea Shell" (according to her) that I pulled out of Olivia's mouth (don't' even ask how egg got there in the first place!!)
Shortly after starting the baking process, I realized that I didn't have a full bag of chocolate chips to use for the cookies. Too many chocolate chip pancakes on the weekends, I guess! So we had to improvise slightly with random stuff I had on hand...

What a day!!!
