I'm am thankful for...
1. Steve...have I told you lately what an AMAZING husband and father you are? I have??? Oh...well then I guess you'll have to hear it again!
2. Upcoming vacations...I know I have mentioned this before, but I can't wait for some vacation time this summer. We'll be heading to a few different places and I'm so excited! It's hard to decide what I'm the MOST excited about and I think it's a toss-up between our family trips and the trip Steve and I are taking for our anniversary...alone. Hmmm....
3. Playmates and play dates...As the weather has been getting nicer, we have been having SO much fun enjoying the outdoors with our friends. I love getting together with friends and their children, and I think my kiddos look forward to it just as much as I do.
4. Fingers...in particular Maddie's cute, chubby fingers that love to play with my hair.
5. Freckles...especially the one perched right on the side of Olivia's nose. I kiss it at least 100 times each day!
6. My students...I only have 18 students this year and they are such an amazing group of kids. They get (and LOVE) my sarcasm, are quick-witted, and very bright. They keep me laughing and smiling all day while I am with them. Boy, am I going to miss them next year.
7. My "new" car...it was time to say goodbye to my Pilot (aka the "red car", as per the kids), so I have inherited Steve's Murano (aka the "white car"). I guess I wanted to be just like my daddy! When we drove to Chattanooga, dad thought it was cool (the rest of us thought it was dorky) to see the "fleet" of white Muranos parked together.
8. Family time...Although I love my job and enjoy spending time with great friends, nothing beats family time. Steve and I have so much fun hanging out with our kiddos. We have loved every stage of their lives thus far, but it seems like they are getting more and more FUN by the day!
9. Lake YMCA...I have been trying to get back into shape over the past few months and they Y has been a huge help. I love coming out to the Lake Y because it's usually relatively quiet...and I'm not constantly running into people I know while I'm out of breath and covered in sweat.
10. Cameras...It's amazing how far technology has come and I really enjoy documenting our lives on film (ok...on my SD card, but "film" sounded better!).
