Similar...But Different

My girls share a lot of similarities.  They have a similar coloring, similar eyes, similar body types.  They are both small for their age and consistently weigh within 1/2 of a pound of each other.  When we are out in public, many people even question if they are identical.

But with the similarities that do exist with their looks...

...that's where the similarities seem to end.

When it comes to personalities, these two girlies are night and day different!

Take today for example.  This morning we headed to story time at a local library with my friend Mindy and her two kids, Tony and Grace.  After story time, we stopped at Chick-Fil-A to eat lunch, play, and celebrate Tony's 3rd birthday.  In the car on the way home, I questioned the kids about the places we had visited and asked them what their favorite part was about each stop.

At the library, Olivia's favorite part was the "REALLY loud song ("The Wheels on the Bus") she gotted to sing and dance with".

Madison's favorite was "when the librarian readed us the quiet story about hugs".

As for Chick-Fil-A, Olivia's favorite part was when she got to "run, play, and climb with all the fun, loud, big kids" inside the play area.

Madison, on the other hand?  Her favorite part was when she got to "wait in line at the slide and take my turn".

One kid loves all the loud stuff.  The other likes quietly waiting in line.

Similar...but very different!
