This morning we all woke up extra early, ate breakfast together, and raced out the door to try to make it on time. We did have to stop for a quick picture in the front yard before leaving...
(Yikes! When did they get to be so grown up?!?!?)
All in all, the first day was declared a success. Since they go to preschool at the same school where I teach 3rd grade, I was able to drop them off at school and pick them up as well. They LOVE their teacher, Miss Johnston, and told me that they like her because she's very pretty and is a good singer. They said they were very excited because one of their best buddies is also in their class, but they also said they met lots of other friends too. They played at the art studio, science center, math center, reading corner, and much more. No wonder they were sound asleep 30 minutes early tonight!
Day one of preschool? A huge success!
