Say Cheese!

There are so many things that I love about have twins. I could practically make a list a mile long. My list of things I love, however, always stops short when it comes to pictures. It turns out that TWO two-and-a-half year olds are hard to photograph. Don't' get me wrong. I have a million cute pictures of my kids individually. It's just trying to get everyone to look perfect at the same time for the same picture that gets a little tricky. But perhaps it's best to let the picture do the talking.

This first one isn't too bad. No one is looking at the camera, but at least everyone is smiling....with arms around each other. If only they got along like this all the time...

Now everyone is laughing too hard to even attempt a glance in the camera's direction...

Which of course then ends with a heaping pile of giggling children on the floor!

Heather's mini-photo shoot (take TWO) started off with Olivia's frightening new "cheese smile". It's hard to get a smile that is more forced than this one!

I stand corrected. This one could be worse!

After many forced smiles such as those seen above, Steve decided to intervene. I love how they are looking up at him while he is trying to direct them on how to smile.

Then there's this one. Note Madison's devious smile while her hand is wrapped around Livie's neck.

And last, but not least, Olivia yelling at Steve because he was telling her that she needed to work on her smile. All you have to do is look at the picture to hear her saying, "I AM smiling, dad!"

Maybe we'll try for pictures another day. Then again, maybe we won't!

They are adorable! I love all the pictures. It is incredibly difficult to photograph more than 1 child!
