How to Catch a Fish...Minnesota Style!

When catching fish on Deer Lake, you much first decide what type of bait you would like to use. 

Some people prefer to fish using leeches,

while others opt to use worms.

Fishing takes a lot of patience.

Sometimes you have to sit for a very long time while you are waiting for the fish to bite.

When you feel a nibble on your line, it often helps to stand up while you are trying to reel in your fish...

but rubbing the slimy fish on the side of Grumpa's boat is definitely optional.

From time to time, you are lucky enough to catch a small mouth bass that can be eaten for dinner,

but other times your fish is the same size as your worm.
