It's the newest, hottest word in our house these days.
"Dewdit" first started when Madison was in a Mommy-only phase. For weeks we heard, "Mommy dewdit!", which basically meant that everyone else had better stand back because there was no way on earth that ANYONE else on the entire planet could do whatever it was that Madison was requesting. It should be noted that "Mommy dewdit" was typically said in a very tearful, whiny, upset voice. Charming, I know.
Thankfully (for my sanity) "Mommy dewdit" has recently evolved into "Daddy dewdit". This is personally my favorite. I love watching Steve dutifully get up from whatever he is working on because Madison needs Daddy to "dewdit". I especially love when the "Daddy dewdit" phrase is used in regards to a very stinky diaper. That's right honey, "Daddy dewdit"!
Sometimes I will hear "Maddie dewdit". This is the phrase that makes me cringe. First of all, whatever Maddie needs to do on her own, is usually something hard and she ends up getting frustrated....yet still needs to "dewdit". Secondly, it is just a reminder to me that my babies are getting older and more and more independent. Sigh.
Oddly enough we never seem to hear "Liddie dewdit". Now there's a surprise!

Sounds like someone is learning early how to run the show! Good luck, I think you're going to need it!!
