In order to get ready for Halloween, Steve and I wanted to carve pumpkins with the kids. This was not the kids first pumpkin carving experience, as we did carve pumpkins as a family last year. But this year, the kids were able to get a lot more involved than they did previously, thus making the project much messier and more fun!!!
Livie and Maddie helping us separate the seeds so I could roast pumpkin seeds...YUM!
Madison actually loved eating the raw pumpkin and ate quite a bit! She figured that since it tasted good to her, the "happy face" would like it too!
The girls insisted that the "happy face" eat dinner with us. They even shared their green beans with him. They aren't even 2 yet, but are already coming up with clever ways to get out of eating their veggies.
