Pumpkin Pickin'

We went to a local pumpkin stand today to get some pumpkins for our front porch. It was a "quick" trip and a prelude to our trip to the pumpkin patch later this month.

We were barely out of the car when Madison already had her pumpkin picked out...

Olivia, on the other hand, was a different story. She looked and searched, searched and looked. She couldn't decide if she wanted a small one or a big one. An orange one or a white one. Just when we thought she had finally picked her pumpkin, she found another one she liked better. Too bad her mean mommy said she needed to pick out a smaller, less expensive one!

After picking out pumpkins for the four of us (plus one special white pumpkin for Sydney), it was time to checkout. Steve had lots of help pushing the cart and I couldn't help but crack up (pun VERY much intended!) as I walked behind them!

When we got home, it was time for a quick picture with the new pumpkins.

It's amazing to see how much the girls have changed since this time last year. What a difference a year makes!
