So now I have the daunting task of trying to catch all of you up on the past few months here at the Wright home front. We are slowly but surely getting settled into our new home. Most of the unpacking is done, with the exception of 853 Rubbermaid tubs that line the walls of our basement. I figure by the time we start tackling that stuff, we should be getting ready to send the kids off to college.
Madison and Olivia have adjusted very well to their new surroundings. They are talking CONSTANTLY and are already developing a great vocabulary. They even know a handful of words in sign language (Baby Einstein gets credit for that, although I take partial credit for turning Baby Einstein on for them...go ahead, starting nominating me for Mom of the Year). They are getting bigger and bigger by the day and seem to find themselves getting into more and more trouble as well. After chasing them around all day, Steve and I often spending our evenings reminiscing about the "good old days" when we used to be able to put them in one spot...and they would actually stay there!
Without further adieu here are some pictures of our family to showcase a few of the things we have been up to lately. First up i
s Crash...I mean Madison. Not only am I a delinquent blogger, but apparently Steve and I are delinquent parents. That would help explain how Madison managed to ride her bike off the front porch. Fortunately her nose isn't broken and she didn't damage her front teeth, but as you can note from the picture, her nose and lips have certainly seen better days!

Olivia and Steve - Livie loves it when he throws her around in the air. Madison isn't quite as fond of the game!
Maddie and Livie have been playing really well together lately. It's nice to have a built-in best friend! They love their new playroom, but don't they seem to be lacking in the toy department? : )
Ok, that's enough pictures and updates for now. I don't want to completely overwhelm you by doing too great of a job here! Am I officially back up and running? Check back in a week to see (but for those of you who know me well, I'm sure your hopes aren't too high...very smart)!!!
Until next time (whenever that may be).....
